This is where RSS feeds are great, as when you find a place where there is interesting content, you simply subscribe and pick up this valuable material. Certainly, you need to focus on quality not quantity, but you have to add a means of sifting through the quantity to find the best. Each and every day, a time is set aside to go through everything that has been gathered, to find the best information and the items with the most captivating headlines. Everything else is ditched. Information overload is a terrible thing – people can easily get sucked in by it and before you realise it, hours have passed by, so by doing this, I can save myself time and get the really valuable information I need, a bit like a magpie picking out the shiny things from the rubbish.
