As you already know WordPress is my all time favorite blogging platform. There are many reasons why I like WordPress, however if I had to choose just one, I would have to say because of the vast amount of plugins you can use. Plugins can be used for all kinds of purposes, however there are about 5 plugins that I install on every blog straight away. Here is the list of them and why I use them on every single blog I create.
All in one SEO
We all know that it is important that we search engine optimize our blogs in order to make the mmost of the traffic from search engines. This plugin will allow you to give your blog homepage it’s very own meta title, description, and tags. It also gives you the ablity to add this information to every blog post your create.
Google XML Sitemaps
This is another plugin I use to ensure my blog is SEO’ed. It is used to quickly and easily create a Google compliant sitemap for your blog. Using this plugin you can do this with just a few clicks of your mouse button. To make even better use of this plugin you can then take your sitemap URL and sumit it to Google.
Privacy Policy Generator
This plugin will automaticaly create a privacy policy for your blog. You no longer need to know or research any kind of legal jargon in order for your blog to have it’s own privacy policy. I think this plugin is essential because if you want to use Adsense on your blog you NEED to have a privacy policy.
Easy Contact
With the “Easy Contact” WordPess plugin you can easily create a contact form for your blog. You don’t need to know any html or css to create your contact form, the plugin does all the wok for you. It is important to have a contact form on your blog if you want to allow your blog visitors to get in contact for you. I use my contact forms to allow anyone who would like to advertize on my blog to get hold of me.
Statpress
You should know by know that in order for your blog to succeed you need to be able to have access to some information about your blog statistics. With the “Statpress” plugin you can easily do this from your very own blog dashboard. It will show you how many visitors you have had, where they come from, what they typed into Google to find your blog, and a hole lot more.
